People Watching | Interactive Installation
People Watching explores the unseen stories carried by ordinary people moving through everyday life. Through touch- and proximity-activated silhouettes, the piece reveals intimate filmed narratives that invite viewers to look beyond appearances and connect with the emotional worlds of strangers. I led the design of the project from concept to execution, shaping the interactive experience, narrative framework, and physical installation in collaboration with engineers and through custom-built sensing technology.

In a world where strangers pass each other without a second thought, this installation asks:
What if we could see the inner emotional lives of those we overlook?
Through tactile interaction, the piece reveals abstract visual narratives tied to anonymous figures. As the audience engages, the most frequently touched figures gradually become illuminated,
a metaphor for how attention and recognition can bring hidden stories
into the light.
